My passion is more than just mathematics. My focus is on connecting with the learner. I believe we learn best when we build on what we know and achieve small bursts of success while learning from the mistakes. While commonly associated with math, frustration and anxiety are harmful barriers to learning. Learning can be fun, and everyone can learn.

In this position I became a peer collaborator to support teachers and students in the classroom. As the teachers became more confident with teaching, they built strong, positive learning communities.
